Parallel Review Lisboa: exhibitions and talks

PARALLEL REVIEW LISBOA presents together, and for the first time, the work created by emerging artists and curators during the 1st cycle of PARALLEL – European Photo Based Platform. The exhibitions will be accompanied by several other contemporary photography related activities. The first edition will take place in Campo de Santa Clara, where at the old Santa Clara market there will the main exhibition centre with activities spreading to nearby sites: Palácio Sinel de Cordes and Polo Cultural São Vicente.

This event aims to create an anchor for analysing, discussing and producing photography in Lisbon. Both by acknowledging the importance of image as a contemporary document and in promoting dialogue between all its players: artists/creators, public and the city.
